I have set this up to where I have a camera monitoring a pathway, and if someone now walks along that pathway,  the Alexa speaker in the room will say "there is someone outside you may want to pay attention"

It is working really well for me basically using your API as a push button trigger for Alexa routines. Nothing else off the shelf can do this… (unless I made it myself which is beyond my technical ability)

I often go away in my caravan and its such a pain to remember to turn devices off around the house. Now with this set up, I just make an entry in my caravan calendar and I can go away and the home will manage itself.
